Lead Network Engineer

Lead enterprise network assessments and modernization strategy — deep networking expertise, paired with a consultative approach.
What you’d do
- Assess enterprise network architecture, configurations, and security posture — including firewalls, segmentation, encryption, and access controls
- Evaluate Zscaler SSE deployments, policies, and configurations
- Analyze NetFlow data, traffic patterns, QoS, routing, load balancing, and failover to surface bottlenecks and performance gaps
- Work onsite with client network teams to validate findings and gather infrastructure data
- Design and document target architectures, and produce assessment reports with findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps
- Advise on network modernization, cloud integration, resilience, and disaster recovery
- Present findings to both technical teams and executive leadership
What we’re looking for
- Enterprise network specialist with strong architecture and design experience, including hands-on Zscaler SSE.
- Deep knowledge of routing, switching, load balancing, VPN, and network/security protocols
- Advanced NetFlow analysis and network monitoring skills; QoS, traffic shaping, and bandwidth management
- Cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and SD-WAN experience
- Network security experience across firewalls, DLP, threat prevention, and segmentation
- Familiarity with assessment methodologies, architecture frameworks, and standards (ITIL, COBIT, CIS)
- Strong analytical and communication skills — able to translate complex network data for business stakeholders
- Proven ability to run client engagements independently and document reference designs
